Especially if I use the VTC of the neo head. I just wonder if the pistons and valves do not collide. If I have the head and block machined, I may lose 0.1 to 0.2 mm that would also slightly increase the cr. Wiseco offers pistons that lower the compression ratio to 8.25 compression for the rb26. The thickest one I found is 1.8 mm thick. The compression ratio could be lowered if I use a thicker head gasket.

In the end, as you said, the main problem would be the pin height of the pistons (if using 25 pistons) or the compression ratio (if using 26 pistons). They say it works, but don't mention what pistons they used. I've already found a few threads on this subject on UK Skyline forums. I was hoping it was a common mod because it is a cheap (but small) stroker for the 25. I cant get past the key at the moment so thats as far as i go Edited Augby ishh Try changing the "Port" setting in "Communication" to a port that you know exists. You have probably entered an invalid COM port number. When I click the Connect button I get an error message and the application shuts down. Warning: Take note of your Activation Key, you will need to re-enter it to activate the software.Ģ. It will save the default settings to the registry file.ĭon't tick the "Auto connect to ECU" option until you successfully establish a connection. * Close the Registry Editor and try running the software again. * Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\NDataScan" and delete the whole NDataScan entry. To fix the problem you will need to reset the registry settings. You have probably entered a wrong COM port number and ticked the "Auto connect to ECU" option. When I start the NDS software I get an error message and the application shuts down. Registry serch > from commandline > run > regedit > Edit > Find > Datascan > remove valuesġ. I will add that sometimes it may be called another name in the program files other than Datascan, example "NISSAN" mo. GunmetalR33 gave good advice for program trace removal. Maybe its not? as i am just guessing like GunMetalR33 stated. Logicly i was thinking you may have altered a bios setting in the Actual Nissan ECU if it was possible. I understand the Datascan is on your laptop mate! and was just trouble shooting a bit !
